Who we are

Hi! My name is Alton McLellan. I started McLellan Maker's Shed in 2022 with a goal of using woodworking to improve lives. I realize that sounds lofty and abstract, but at the simplest level it's a matter of creating solutions that help people enjoy their 'spaces' and create connection with others. 

No matter the scale, creative solutions are about providing people what they are looking for. The solutions can be...

• a coffee table to make the living room cozier and more inviting (and a great place to play games).
• a laundry area makeover to make the work a little less taxing and the space more attractive.
• a cutting board and charcuterie board to be a centerpiece for gatherings of family and friends.
• a game, or game storage, that captures the essence of laughter (and competition).
• a personalized gift to let someone know that they are recognized and appreciated.
